1:35 BUFFALO 6x6 MPCV with Slat Armor and Spaced Armor Version
The Buffalo MPCV is a modern American armored anti-mine vehicle. The Buffalo MPCV is powered by the basic version of the Mack ASET AI-400 I6 single engine with a power of 450 hp . The armament of the vehicle is usually a single machine gun caliber: 12.7 mm or 7.62 mm.
Car Buffalo MPCV was created by Force Protecton Inc. as the heaviest anti-mine vehicle in the manufacturer's offer. It was based on the South African Casspir car. However, it is quite clearly different from the original: first of all, it has a six-wheeled chassis compared to that of the four-wheeled Casspir car. The Buffalo MPCV also has a guided explosive handling arm. It is also characterized by a specially shaped V-shaped bottom of the hull, which increases the chances of the vehicle surviving at the time of detonation of a mine or the so-called fugasa. Buffalo MPCV vehicles are also equipped with a special cover manufactured by BAE Systems, which is to provide protection against older versions of anti-tank grenade launchers, such as the RPG-7. In 2009, the production of the A2 version started, which has, among others: a more powerful engine and a new drive train. Buffalo MPCV vehicles, apart from the US forces, are used by: France, Canada, Pakistan, Italy and Great Britain.
