In the 1970s, Europe's railways grew technically together without losing their independent character. This manifested itself in the joint procurement of modern passenger coaches. This pioneering construction at the time also enriches the PIKO range with the option of arranging international long-distance trains.
The vehicles were precisely implemented on a 1:87 scale and are characterized by their absolutely harmonious shape and color. The filigree bogies can be seen as a model of contemporary mold construction, but the precise engraving of the roof beads is also evidence of this. For a varied model railway operation, an LED interior lighting specially designed for this type of car can easily be retrofitted. The spread of the model allows numerous variants of different railway administrations and thus represents a European railway model.
