1:35 Hungarian Medium Tank 43.M Turán III
The Turán III (full name: 43.M Turán III) is a Hungarian medium tank prototype (sometimes classified as heavy) from the Second World War. The cart was 6.6 meters long and 2.6 meters wide. The combat weight was 21 tons. The drive was provided by a single engine Manfred Weiss-Z V8 with a capacity of 260 HP .. The armament consisted of a 75 mm KwK 40 L / 43 gun and two 8 mm 34/40 machine guns. Turán III was created as a result of the appearance of new Soviet combat vehicles on the Eastern Front, which posed a very serious threat to the Hungarian army and outclassed the Turán II vehicles. In order to shorten the research and development time, it was decided to modify the latter by adding a new gun, i.e. the German 75mm KwK 40 cannon, which in turn entailed a modification of the turret and a change in its structure and shape. The first Turán III prototypes appeared in 1943 but never entered mass production.
