The PIKO model of the locomotive 130 006-0 is the first, consistently prototypical H0 model of the DR class 130.
Exactly based on the original, the PIKO 130 has the large front and side windows of the first delivery series. Just as typical were the separately attached handrail poles in front of the driver's cabs and the "tidy" roof. Although the 130 is shorter than the 132 series, with its pulled-down front aprons it also appears larger and bulkier in the model. A very special highlight is the prototypically illuminated side signs. Model-oriented model railroaders should also be impressed by the precisely reproduced, robust bogie detailing, which withstands the tough everyday operation on the model railroad.
The motor with two flywheels, together with the heavy zinc die-cast frame, the elegant cardan shaft drive on four axles (two wheels with traction tires in a diagonal arrangement) give the model excellent running properties and high tractive power.
As a model of the PIKO Expert line, the 130 006-0 has close coupling kinematics and a Plux16 / 22 digital interface. The retrofitting with sound is prepared.
