Electric locomotive BR 240 "Laminátka" of the CD, epoch V with sound
The grace of the shapely machines of the Škoda 47E "Laminátka" type was excellently transferred to the scale 1:87 and an absolutely coherent overall picture was created. The many attractive details, such as the skylights in the engine room, have been elegantly implemented and the strongly structured lines of the locomotive body visualized by sharp engravings.
The colorful livery of the prototype, including dynamic decorative elements, also suits the locomotive in 1:87 thanks to the elaborate painting and printing. The locomotive is powered by a five-pole motor, the smooth running of which is perfected by two flywheel masses. Of course, lighting in red and white that changes with the direction of travel is available and uses modern LED technology.
In the sound version, the electric locomotive has a suitable PIKO sound decoder including loudspeakers ex works.
