1:35 British Main Battle Tank Centurion Mk. V
Centurion, A41 (English: Centurion, A41) is a British medium tank produced in the second half of the 1940s. According to Western military classifications, it is a 1st generation main battle tank.
Developed in the period 1943 - 1944, to oppose the German heavy tanks, within the concept of "universal tank", which should replace the existing infantry and cruiser tanks. The first serial "Centurions" entered service in 1945, already after the end of hostilities in Europe during the Second World War. It was repeatedly modernized, which allowed it to remain in serial production until the end of 1962. A total of 4,423 tanks of this type were produced, not counting machines based on this model.
Centurion Mk 5 – modification with 7.62mm Browning M1919 machine gun instead of 7.92mm BESA, and few other changes
