1:35 YW-750 Armored Ambulance
The YW 750 is a Chinese post-war and modern tracked medical evacuation vehicle. The first prototypes appeared in the 1960s, and serial production started in the same decade. The drive is provided by a single motor Deutz BF8L413F with 320 HP . The maximum speed on the road does not exceed 65 km / h. The armament consists of a single 12.7 mm machine gun. The YW 750 was developed and produced at factories currently owned by the Norinco defense concern. The vehicle was created on the basis of the YW 531 tracked armored personnel carrier, relatively simple in design and operation (another designation: Type 63), and specifically its export version YW 531C. The main difference between the two vehicles is that the YW 750 has a rebuilt and redesigned rear fuselage, which has been raised and adapted to transport stretchers with the wounded. Like the YW 531C, the YW 750 ambulance was also intended for export markets.
