1:700 Japanese Aircraft Carrier Taiho - Water Line Series

It was completed in March 1944, during the latter stages of the Pacific War. This is a plastic model assembly kit of the aircraft carrier Taiho, which was highly anticipated as the ace of the Japanese Navy task force, but disappeared into the Pacific Ocean due to a submarine attack during the Battle of the Marianas just three months later. The unique style called the enclosed bow, in which the armored flight deck and the outer skin of the bow are connected to the flight deck, has been thoroughly reproduced. The bridge and weapon parts also have a sharp finish. The mast can be set in combat or cruising state, and the elevator can be set in raised or lowered state. A wide variety of carrier-based aircraft such as the Zero Fighter Type 52 and Tenzan carrier-based attack aircraft are also included.
★Total length when completed: 369mm
