1:700 Japanese Aircraft Carrier Junyo - Waterline Series

The Japanese Navy acquired a luxury passenger ship that was under construction and was completed as an aircraft carrier in July 1945. This is a plastic model assembly kit of the aircraft carrier Hayataka, which sank the American aircraft carrier Hornet in the Battle of the South Pacific in October of the same year, and continued to fight until the end of the war as the core of the task force, including the Third Battle of the Solomons and the Battle of the Marianas. Although it is a refurbished aircraft carrier, it has a large hull and attack power comparable to regular aircraft carriers, with the soft lines of the bow and stern typical of passenger ships, the bridge tilted outward at 26 degrees, and the integrated chimney. The main mast, anti-aircraft weapons, and a wide range of carrier-based aircraft have a sharp finish.
★Total length when completed: 311mm
