1:35 German Light Staff Car Stabswagen Model 1937 (Saloon) with crew (2 figures)

Opel Olympia is a German passenger car from the interwar period, World War II and the post-war period. The first copies of this car appeared in 1935, and serial production continued intermittently in the years 1935-1970. The vehicles of the first production series, from 1935-1940, were powered by 1.3 and 1.5 liter engines with a capacity of up to 24 HP.

The first Opel Olympia cars were presented in February 1935 at the Berlin Motor Show. These cars were intended for the civilian market. During the production of the first series (1937-1940), four body versions appeared: Olympia LZ (two-door car with a sedan body), Olympia CL (two-door model, being a convertible), Olympia OL38 (model with a more powerful engine) and Olympia LV (four-door model). At the outbreak of World War II, many of these cars were mobilized and served as staff cars for officers of the German armed forces throughout World War II, from the September campaign in 1939 until the last fighting in Germany in 1945.
