1:35 German Hf.7 Horse drawn Steel field wagen with 2 horses and 2 figures
At the time of the outbreak of the Second World War, the German army was still largely equipped with horse-drawn transport wagons. The Stahlfeldwagen Hf. 7 was introduced in 1939 and produced in various variants. It was a simple steel structure weighing approximately one ton on four wheels. Pulled by two horses, a payload of 1.5 tons was possible. What was possible in the Western European theaters of war proved impossible for many draft animals in Russia. Four or six horses were also needed there. The Hf.7 was mainly found in the infantry divisions. If available, tea can be pulled by motorized vehicles. However, it was also quite heavy and expensive to manufacture and was therefore often exchanged for lighter one-ton wooden wagons.
