The German light 2.8 cm sPzB41 cannon is also classified as an AT heavy rifle. Cannons of this type were often equipped with ZF 1x11 optics from the PaK 35/36 gun. The sPzB41 cannons were used by motorized troops, light infantry, paratroopers and mountain units. In the KwK 42 version, the weapon of this type was mounted on SdKfz 250/11 and SdKfz 221 armored vehicles. The armor-piercing ammunition is APCNR-T shells with a tungsten core, and 2.8cm Sprg.41 is fragmentation ammunition. Close-range shots could seriously damage the Soviet KV-1 and T-34/85 tanks.
