1:35 Su-76 Soviet self propelled gun
SU-76M is the most massive self-propelled artillery mount of domestic production during the Great Patriotic War. It was produced from 1943 to 1945, a total of 13,684 pieces were produced, designed with extensive use of components and assemblies of the T-70 tank. The SU-76M self-propelled guns were designed to destroy enemy manpower, fire weapons, field fortifications, as well as to fight enemy tanks. In the offensive, the SU-76M self-propelled guns were used to directly escort infantry and cavalry, as well as maneuverable artillery reserves. In defense, self-propelled units were used as conventional field artillery, as well as a mobile anti-tank weapon. The SU-76M self-propelled gun made it possible to quite effectively deal with medium German tanks and self-propelled guns, and when operating from ambushes at close range, with Panther and Tiger tanks.
