UAZ 3909 is a wagon-type car with a 4x4 wheel arrangement, designed for freight and passenger transportation. UAZ-3909 (in common parlance - "Bukhanka") is a family of Soviet and Russian four-wheel drive low-tonnage cargo and passenger off-road vehicles manufactured at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. It represents the 1st generation of UAZ cargo-and-passenger automatic transmission systems. Forced to take the place of the UAZ-3165 model in 1990-2000, due to the lack of the latter.
