1:35 American army vehicle WC-52 "Three-quarters" with winch
The release of multi-purpose all-wheel drive army all-terrain vehicles WC-52 with a winch began in 1941. A Braden MU-2 winch was installed on the artillery tractor, which made it possible to pull 3400 kg. The winch could be used both for self-pulling a car stuck in the mud on the road, and for transporting various military cargo. In addition to cargo or soldiers in the back, the car was able to tow a trailer or gun weighing up to 2 tons. For example, WC-52s delivered under Lend-Lease during the Great Patriotic War in the USSR carried ZIS-3 divisional guns. From 1941 until the end of the war, 59,000 WC-52s were built. They served not only in the American army, but were also supplied to the UK, the USSR, China, and also to the Free French army.
