The Su-25 (according to NATO codification: Frogfoot - “frog's paw”) is a single-seat armored subsonic heavily armed and incredibly survivable Soviet attack aircraft. Designed to support ground forces on the battlefield day and night in simple and adverse weather conditions with visual visibility of the target. It has been in operation since 1981, and still remains the basis of attack aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The famous Soviet "Rook" is in service with more than 20 countries
