1:35 Soviet military SUV UAZ-469
UAZ-469 was developed at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant, the first cars rolled off the assembly line on December 15, 1972. The UAZ-469 had an open five-seater body that accommodated five people (including the driver), but if necessary, two more could seated in the cargo compartment on folding seats. Instead, it was possible to load 600 kg of equipment and cargo, plus the UAZ-469 could tow a trailer weighing 850 kg.
Passengers were protected from bad weather by a tarpaulin awning, the arcs of which could be removed and the windshield folded over the hood. At the same time, the height of the vehicle is significantly reduced, which makes it easier to camouflage or transport it by helicopter. In August 1974, three fully standard UAZ-469Bs climbed Mount Elbrus to an altitude of 4,200 meters during a test in just 38 minutes.
