The main striking force of the Macedonian army was the getairs - heavy cavalry units, in which representatives of the Macedonian nobility served. The getairs were armed with a cavalry spear, which had tips at both ends, and a short sword, and were protected by a copper cuirass or white linen shell and a Boeotian helmet. The getairs wore a golden-yellow Macedonian cloak with a wide purple stripe on the edge, emphasizing their nobility. Set of 17 unpainted mounted soldiers.
